The “Ice Flower Socks” are designed to match “Emma’s Ice Flower Mittens” which I dedicated to my dear grandmother Emma. She was born 1901, and I had always loved her stories about her childhood. The tales about how hard her life had been in cold winters fascinated me the most. When she told about the beautiful ice flowers on her bedroom window, I wished to see those one day. It only came true when we visited Lapland in Northern Sweden some years ago.
